Decorating the living room
I haven't done a lot of decorating in my house. I have some things I've made that I will be putting up here, maybe today. Son found an old picture I painted when I was still part of the acne crowd in high school. It's actually a picture of a goat's skull, with the word "Capricorn" over it. Sort of a 60s, hippie kind of picture, I guess, but he liked it so it's up in his bedroom now.
I've got a few other items, though, that I'll want downstairs. Some macrame stuff and painted glass that I'll arrange on the walls. Since it's fall, I'll put up some of the harvest type painted glass, then replace it later with Christmas glass.
I have one wall space selected for family pictures. The center of attention there will be the picture on canvas of my late husband, and I'll surround that with other framed photographs.
