Final day of mini-vacation

This is my last day of visiting at Mom's. The last few days seem to have flown by way too fast and I can't believe it's already down to the day I go back home again.
We've done some things without being super busy, so I feel refreshed. One thing we did during the week was to work a jigsaw puzzle. When we selected it, we thought it would go along pretty quickly. We were surprised that it took us the whole time to get it completed! The picture, though simple enough, had some areas that were really difficult to piece together. However, we didn't mind, really. It was a good way to pass the time.
I'm planning to take at least 4 days every month, and possibly other days off that are grouped together, to come up here and visit Mom, Sis, and Brother-in-law. It's important to spend time together. That time is never lost and will be cherished for a lifetime.
At some point today I'll be digging up some plants to take home with me. Several of the perennials and flowering shrubs have "volunteers" growing around them and I have good spots for them at my house. One in particular - Mom's Rose of Sharon bushes - has lots of volunteers.
