Monthly visit to Mom

I'll be heading out to Mom's house after a bit. I'm just waiting till I get paid, get a few bills paid, then I can go. I'm looking forward to the visit.

There will be a museum exhibit on Saturday that I really am keen on seeing. It's something to do with how people used to live and do things to stay on a tight budget. In these days and times, maybe it's a good idea for us all to look back and learn how to save money or do more things for ourselves at home instead of depending on purchases for every little thing.

I was really hoping to leave yesterday to visit Mom, but with all the recent unexpected expenses, I simply didn't have the finances to put gas in the truck for the trip. I'll have that all in hand now, though.
