Dogs and snow

Saturday continued...

Son's dog, which lives outside, was also relishing the snow. It's her first winter so she's pretty excited about it. I put fresh water and food out there for her. Her other water had frozen solid. I brought the frozen bucket of water in and sat it in the bathtub. It should thaw out eventually. Until then, I can't even empty it!

It's a good thing I have several buckets. I can switch them out when needed for food and water, so that makes taking care of her a lot easier. I really wish, though, that Son would take her with him or find her a good home. I can't spend enough time with her and neither can he, since he's living in Town now. I visit her every day, but she's too large and boisterous for me to play with. I bet she'd have a lot of fun on Costa Rica vacations, though, where she could swim in the ocean to her heart's content. The Lab in her loves to play in the water!

Anyway, it was fun watching her jump and run in the snow. She is part Husky, so I guess this weather is right up her alley!
