Drug addiction
I think all of us have known friends or even family members who have serious drug problems. It's heartbreaking when those problems lead them to incarceration or to losing their own families. We want to help but sometimes we just don't know how.
Getting off drugs can be traumatic and expensive. For some, who really want to stop, it may be a matter of going cold turkey on their own, which is hard on the mind and body. Others may opt for a rapid detox session which is medically supervised. For those who have extreme difficulty facing the withdrawals, that may be the only real solution for them, provided they are committed to not returning to the drugs that got them there to begin with.
This method uses real doctors and real anesthesiologists to remove the physical addictions to opiates, then follow-up counseling to aid with the mental reasons behind the addictions.
