Going out of town

I am really looking forward to a few days off this week. I'll be heading to our state's Grape Festival, where I'll stay at a campsite with Mom, sis, and Brother-in-law. I've never been to the festival before but I know I'll have a very good time. Others in the family have gone and just rave about it.

I've picked up a couple of items of clothing this week so I'll have something new to wear. Not fancy stuff - just some jeans and tops so I'll be comfortable. These are the first jeans I've had in many years and I've worn them around here the past couple of days. I'd really forgotten how comfortable they are! I used to practically live in jeans all the time.

Anyway, I'll get my clothes gathered, deciding what exactly I want to take with me, get my toiletries lined up and ready to pack, and try to be completely ready to go before Wednesday arrives. That day, I'll put gas in my truck and put all my stuff in it, then head out. I hope to arrive at the campground by suppertime.

I figure I'll need to stop once along the way to let Dog relieve herself. She'll go with me since I can't leave her here alone for those days. She's a good traveler, thank goodness.
