Yesterday's news

Had a good day yesterday. It was pretty hot outside but I stayed pretty cool inside while I did a few things.

First, I slept really late! Son and I had gone to the all night discount store for a few things. I got a new pair of work shoes so maybe now my feet won't hurt so bad. My old shoes were pretty worn out and broken down on the inside. By the time I got home, it was very late - almost time for the store to open! I was so glad I was off yesterday so I could have the luxury of sleeping in awhile.

I did wander out to the garden and pick a few cherry tomatoes and chili peppers. That's about all I've got out there right now. I'm really hoping that next year my gardens can be expanded. It's my plan to incorporate most of the yard into garden areas with just walkways in between.
