More sorting and cleaning

I can't believe it's been almost a week since I posted to this blog. I suppose it's because I've been working all week. I had today off, thank goodness, and was able to get some things done in my house.

I've got my living room just about where I want it. There are still some details to attend to, but at least it's coming together and I've gotten a lot more junk out of the house.

I wish I could downsize my possessions as easily as downsizing my body by just throwing one of the best fat burners in a room and watching "stuff" melt away. I guess nothing is ever that easy, though, is it. So, I'll continue to sort and toss and give away the stuff I've accumulated over the years. Not much of it is any good anyway. Mostly, it's duplicates of things or things that have needed repair for a long time. I'm never going to repair it, so why keep it?

Some stuff I've kept is because I spent money on it and don't want to feel like I'm wasting money by getting rid of it. But, if it's in the way and taking away from my peace of mind, how much can it really be worth?
