Trying to find a toddler-proof Halloween costume
Guest post written by Ruth Piper
I'm learning the hard way that it's hard to raise a toddler without him completely destroying your house. That's just kind of how it is, though. So now that I'm thinking that instead of buying him a Halloween costume, I would be better of actually just making him a costume that I know isn't going to be destroyed 10 minutes after I put it on him. He wants to be a superhero. So I thought that might be an easy thing to create on my home in comparison to other types of Halloween costumes.
I used my Orlando wireless internet to look up some ideas about what other people have done to make their sons super hero outfits. I did find a good amount of ideas and decided it wouldn't be so hard to pull of, after all.
I think it is the perfect toddler Halloween costume. I already made him a cape and I bought some leggings that he's going to wear underneath a pair of his swimming trunks. He's already excited about the part of the costume that I've already put together. Plus, I'm saving so much money by making this costume instead of buying him that isn't nearly as impressive.
