Visiting son and daughter-in-law
Thursday, I went to visit my oldest son and his wife and kids for a bit. Youngest Granddaughter couldn't wait to tell me all about her visit to the Pumpkin Patch. She showed me the pumpkin she got, which was very small but perfectly shaped. She told me all about riding the bus for the very first time, seeing the pumpkins and corn stalks, and having a generally wonderful, fun time.
Then she led me around the family room pointing out every photograph her Mom had put up, and telling me the name of every person in them. She remembers a lot!
We gathered on the front porch to enjoy the nice weather and she got a rake and started raking leaves in the yard. I don't know that she intended to rake the entire yard, but she got a pretty good start on a pile of leaves that would be fun to jump in.
Grandson was napping, and when he woke up wasn't really in the mood to visit much, clinging to his mother first, then his father. I don't blame him. I don't want company as soon as I wake up either!
