This Little Piggy Stays Home
I know. Odd sounding title, huh? But what it represents is a wonderful new auction site so that homeschoolers with teacher's editions to sell can have an auction site that's user friendly, homeschool friendly, and doesn't carry some of the trash that you might find listed on eBay.
I've already started some listings there myself. I have a lot of teacher's editions on hand and eBay won't let you list them anymore saying they can't prove you are a real teacher or homeschooler. Ok. They allow cars to be listed and can't prove you can drive. They allow fishing equipment and can't prove you have a fishing license. They allow a lot of other things and can't prove you are qualified to use them. So now, book sellers are looking for new venues to sell their Teacher Editions of books, and this one seems to me to be among the best around.
It's getting a lot of traffic and for now listing fees are free. Other fees are low. The site is easy to use - much faster to list than on eBay.
I'll be listing a lot there from here on out, although I'll still list some at eBay just to maintain contact with people. I've added a link to this site over there on the right sidebar, so please check it out, send the owner favorable comments, and let me know, too, what you think.
Here's the link in this post as well: ThisLittlePiggyStaysHome. You can do a search for my listings by putting "homeschoolzoobooks" into her search program. Without the quotes, of course.
Please, actively support this site and help generate some internet competition. We do live in a country where free enterprise is the key!
While I'm at it, if you have Teacher Editions to sell and have a problem over at eBay, and need some discussion about this topic, check out this group: Teacher Editions discussion group
