Tired of writer's cramp

That's what I say when I go to the fair or some festival and I'm trying to fill out various forms for free raffle drawings. "Free" is the keyword here, since I refuse to buy raffle tickets. Anyway, over and over and over I write my name, address, and phone number on the little scraps of paper - scraps where there really isn't enough room nor are the lines long enough to hand write the information in.

Once I went with my sister to an event. Lo and behold! She was using return address labels. She was peeling them and sticking them to every raffle form. She went through a lot of forms for a lot of free stuff in just a matter of minutes. Now why, I ask you, did I not think of that? There was very little writing involved. She just slapped the address label on the form, dropped it in the box, and moved on to the next one.

Now, there are several ways you can acquire address labels. One way is to buy the blank address label paper from where ever you buy office supplies. Your computer probably has a program already on board for printing these up. You can add clip art to them, choose your favorite font, and print some very personalized address labels for yourself.

While you're at it, try printing some seasonal address labels. You could use those when you send greeting cards to your friends and family.

It might be fun to use the leftover seasonal labels for the raffle forms! At least, if nothing else, they'd get noticed more!

I've used an address label on the back of my cell phone so I can remember what my own number is...lol
