Working out of town
Right now, I'm in my "home" McDonald's waiting for other crew members to get here. We actually should leave in about 30 minutes or so and head down to the other city to close there.
I came here early so I could pick up my paycheck and get it cashed, then head to Big Town to make my car payment. I was sure they were open on Sunday afternoons. However, as it turned out, they are not open so it looks like I'll be heading back down there tomorrow.
Tomorrow night, I close again in the other city. I was originally scheduled to be off, but told my general manager I'd work because I felt I had too many days off this week - that I wouldn't have a very good paycheck if I didn't fill some of those in! So, she scheduled me to go back down there. I'm sure it is a relief for some people who are tired of going.
