Food to warm the heart
I made a quick trip to the local grocery store to pick up a few things to fill in the gap as far as groceries go. When I got home, I peeled potatoes for mashed potatoes and made cole slaw. I also fixed fried pork steaks, fried okra, biscuits, and gravy. Son and I were ready for some hearty, heart-warming home cooking today.
While I was cooking, Son was on the computer looking at HDMI switches to see what he could find that we might make use of when we move into our own house again. We want to get a HDTV to go with the home entertainment system I already have, so he needs to know now what we should be looking for.
In the meantime, I'm glad to be back to cooking meals again instead of driving a lot and being too tired to think about cooking!
