Traveling to work

I'll be working at the McDonald's in the Other City tonight. I'm closing. This is actually a relief for me because that store closes earlier and it's not nearly as busy as the one I currently work at.

I have a couple of errands to run before I head down there, so I'll take off in just a bit and get those taken care of. One of the errands is to run by the corporate office and pick up uniforms and anything else that happens to be ready for the Other City store. It's not out of my way to do this, so it's not extra gas being burned. At near $3.50 a gallon, I try to find ways to really limit trips in my car.

There has been some talk that I could be transferred to the Other City store, which suits me just fine. Even though it's a longer drive, I am much less stressed working there and don't wind up feeling like I've been run over by a truck when I get off.
