Where have all the pens gone?

I don't know what the deal is, but when I get to work, there is never a pen to write with. I always use my own, of course, but it would be nice if, for once, there were actually pens there. The thing is, Son bought a huge package of bic pens just a couple of weeks ago. They're all gone now!

I figure crew and maybe managers are carrying them home in their pockets, but I really don't know that for sure. However, it's hard to explain how 50 or so pens magically disappear within a few days! Ditto for pencils. It doesn't matter if they are yellow #1 pencils or mechanical ones, they grow legs and walk away, I guess.

Anyway, I keep a private stash of pens and pencils in my purse. I never leave them lying around and I never loan them to anyone. I need them for marking various things around the store and I am never in a mood to have them disappear.

Oh, well. I hope whoever got them enjoys using them!
