Revised schedule

I was originally scheduled to close at my regular store tonight, along with another manager. However, those plans have been changed. Now, I'll be heading to the Other City to work late tonight. I'll be helping with cleaning and stocking as they get ready for a corporate inspection.

I won't have to wear my regular uniform for this so I've got my clothes ready to put on and hanging in the closet. I'll just wear some older stuff for this shift, since I'm not going to be working the counter, window, or assembly.

I'll take a maintenance man with me since we are both residents here. That way, we can come back home together and save some driving.

This will probably be an all-night shift. There are usually many details to see to before an inspection and it takes quite a bit of time to get everything done, even though people have been working the past few nights on this.
