No surprises

I am a person who really doesn't like surprises. I like to know in advance what the plans are, what the risks are, and what I need to implement plans. If I took an airplane to a distant location, I'd opt for travel health insurance just to be sure that my health needs were taken care of if I fell ill. Before I drive a long distance, I make sure my car is full of gas and oil and other fluids it needs to operate. Before I even cook, I make sure all my ingredients are on hand and assembled.

Sometimes even good plans don't work out right, but certainly no plans can make for some very unsettling surprises!
