Meeting the sorting challenge
We got everything out of the storage unit yesterday. Now, I'll just take a broom over there and sweep it out, then turn the key and lock in to the office. This will reduce my storage rental by 50%. I still have another unit rented and will probably keep it for awhile longer.
I'm going to check out a place that offers rent-to-own yard barns. If I had cash, I could buy one outright, but at least this plan will help me purchase one in a way I can budget it in monthly. And I will eventually own it, unlike the unit I have rented now. It would be so much more convenient, too, to have things closer when I need them. That way, I don't have to be sure to go by the unit when I need to get out eBay stuff to list.
Today, my biggest challenge is getting focused on what's here and putting things in their proper place. There is now so many boxes and other things on the porch and in the living room that it's a bit overwhelming! Fortunately, most boxes are labeled with the room they came out of or with a note about what's inside. I'll put the boxes in the appropriate rooms first, then set about opening and unloading them.
