New to me car

I did it. I bought another vehicle. It's a Ford Explorer. My old Sable is having some problems and I needed a vehicle that can get me to work and back without me being afraid it would quit. I think the Sable needs an alternator, but it could be worse problems than that. Right now it won't start at all.

I got the Explorer at a local used car lot. I was able to make the down payment and get insurance. Day before yesterday I paid the sales tax and got a tag on it. Of course, it means I have car payments again but there isn't much choice when it comes to needing a vehicle.

The Explorer gets the same gas mileage as the car did, so I'm no worse off there. Gas prices have gone down considerably in the past week, so that helps, too. It's not new - a 2000 model - but it's pretty nice and I've been enjoying driving it.
