Fun days off
I've had the last several days off and enjoyed them very much. That's because I spent them at a nearby camp ground with Mom, Sis, and Brother-in-law.
We've stayed pretty busy seeing the local sites of interest, but it's been a good busy with a good tired at the end of the day. Saturday is my last day to spend with them until next month. I'll stay for the morning activity, then head back to my hometown to go to work.
I was really thinking that I might have to work earlier in the day, which meant I'd have to leave Friday. I was glad to see that the schedule didn't reflect that thought and I could have a little more time with my family.
We've gone to see some things in the Capitol City that I haven't seen before. It was all very educational and also fun at the same time. I really like learning new things, especially about the history of our state and about the ups and downs of history through the years.
I'll spend more time outlining what we did in later posts, but for now, just know that it's been a great de-stressor.
