Spring cold

I don't know if it's a spring cold, a mild flu bug, or what, but I've got the sneezes-coughs-headache-runny nose-sore throat and I don't like it a bit. At work, my general manager said, "Oh, yeah. I had that. It gets a lot worse before it gets better." Gee, thanks. I was hoping it would....NOT!

Anyway, I still have to go to work and I still have to try to function with this crud. I'm taking my cold remedy vitamins (echinacea, zinc, and vitamin C) faithfully so maybe it won't really get worse before it gets better. I'm drinking mint tea and steering clear of anything dairy (dairy encourages mucous, which I've got plenty of right now!)

All I really want to do, though, is sit out on my porch and relax for the next few days. Oh, well. Bills still have to be paid, so it's off to work I go this afternoon.
