Tuesday evening

I thought some of you might like to see a picture of Danny and me, so here's one ~~~~~~~~~~~~~>>

It's been a few days since I posted anything, and I figure those of you who read on a regular basis might wonder how things are going.

Today they finally did radiation on Danny's head - on the lesion at the back of his brain and the other one at the back of his eye. They use a weaker beam for the one on the eye, but a regular beam for the one on the brain. Right now, he's not feeling any side effects and they said he shouldn't feel much. I just have to think that if they are damaging cancer cells at his eye and in his brain, then healthy tissue will be damaged, too.

His weight is still about the same, although it seems to me he isn't eating as much. It's getting harder to find things he likes or can eat, so I let him lead there. For instance, tonight we had tuna melts for supper. Now, I wouldn't have thought that would be something he'd get down very well, but he ate almost a whole one and they were pretty hearty. Plus some barbecue potato chips! Last night, I made home made mushroom and onion soup, which very much appealed to him.

I caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror today. Elizabeth is right. I do have dark circles under my eyes. Yes, I get plenty of sleep. Yes, I'm eating right. What else can I do?
