Confession time
I have barely done any housekeeping for the past few months, and now it's really bad. Oh, I've hit the high spots on occasion, but now it's to the point where it's nearly overwhelming. I want to go outside and start some gardening, but can't justify that kind of fun when the inside of my house is so bad. So, today, I'm trying to get it as caught up as I can.
I'm sorting papers and find that I have a ton of old mail, etc. to throw away. Why didn't I toss it when it came in the door? I don't know. But it's now tossed. I'm also trying to make sure the laundry is caught up completely. Now, I've kept up with washing clothes, but it's the putting-away of them where I'm behind.
The bathroom needs a scrubbing, too. It's been hit-and-miss for far too long in there.
Still, I have to pace myself. I threw myself into doing work this morning after I took Brandon to work, then wound up nauseas. Maybe I got overheated - I don't know. I was sweating profusely, though, and had to just sit very still for awhile and cool down while I let the nausea pass. It's probably something to do with my meds. I've had this sweating/nausea thing a few times since I got started on these meds, and it's usually after I've been real busy and active.
I have a job application to fill out and turn in this afternoon on my way to pick Brandon up from work. It's at a dry cleaners. But I tell you, if I can't do better than I did this morning, I don't see how I can hold a normal job down.
Sunday I spent just about all day either running errands or at church. Went to church with Brandon in the morning. Afterward, we went to another little town where he bought a synthesizer/keyboard (used). Then we went by the Nazarene church where they have the Angel Food Ministry and ordered a couple of boxes of groceries from them. We were very pleased with what we received last time. It's all good food - just a bargain price. It saves on the grocery bill a lot.
Anyway, after that I took Brandon back to his church then went over to where Elizabeth goes to church and enjoyed the service there. So you can see I was on the go all day Sunday.
Yesterday, I took Brandon to work as usual (he still hasn't reinstated his driver's license), but we went early so he could go by H&R Block and have his taxes done. He won't be getting much back since he's a single, 20 year old male. But he'll get some back.
Yesterday afternoon I got a call from my grandkids' school. No one had picked them up and it was after 4 PM, so I headed over there and got those two, then over to the middle school to get the oldest one. As it turned out, their father had simply overslept (he works nights) and their mother (my grown daughter) had a class in Little Rock so she assumed Dad had picked them up. It was confusing for all for awhile but it did get straightened out.
Then I headed out to pick Brandon up from work, but when I got there he said he was going to hang out with some friends and one of them would bring him home. I came home and fixed myself a fried bologna sandwich with cheese. Now I know that may not sound too great, but for some reason I was just craving it yesterday afternoon..LOL
Later today, a friend of Brandon's is bringing his little camper here to set it up. He lives about 45 miles from us but is wanting to work around here, so he'll stay in the camper, pay me a little rent to cover extra water and electricity, and start a new job in just a few days.
Well, I feel faily well rested now and not nauseas anymore, so I'll try to get some more work done.
