Housing
Brandon and I talked to a man about possibly financing a house that's practically across the road from our workplace. There were a lot of questions to answer, of course. He wanted to know practically every minute detail of our lives.
There were questions about things like traffic tickets, insurance, whether either of us had been in alcohol rehab, and financial questions. However, for the most part, the man said it really looks good for Brandon to buy the house. The drawback is that he will have to have me in on the deal, too.
This really changes everything I'd thought I wanted to do in the near future, but it would be so much better for Brandon to buy than to waste his money on rent. Once he's got a credit history established (he's never bought anything on credit), then it might not be so hard for him to take on the full responsibility of home ownership.
