Upsetting news
I was awakened early yesterday morning by a knock on my door. My landlord is selling this land and wants us out by the first of April. So, we've been scrambling to find a new location. Brandon is doing the real "leg work" while I'm at work.
He's looked everywhere but at Wilmington NC real estate, and seems to have come up with a couple of possibilities including buying a house in the town where we work.
Our supervisor promised months ago that if he made it to salaried manager (which he has), she and her father would help him with all the ins and outs of buying his own house. He can afford this now, and being 22 means he could have a house paid off well before retirement age. Still, now we're really scrambling to get things boxed and into the storage unit as quickly as possible while still holding down full time jobs.

Doesn't your landlord have to give you at least 30 days notice? How can he tell you to leave in two weeks? That doesn't seem right to me, and certainly not fair.
Anyway, I hope you can find somewhere affordable and nice to live, that's maybe a little closer to the places that you have to drive a distance to get to now.
Take care. I'm praying for you!

This has always been a month-to-month rental property, so it could have happened any time. We'll get by, I'm sure, and find something that's really better than this place anyway.
Thanks for praying!
