Elizabeth
I don't know if I mentioned this before or not. I can't remember now. Elizabeth had minor surgery on her arm Thursday. She had a birthmark removed. The dermatologist wanted to remove it before something developed there. The birthmark always looked like a giant dark freckle.
The outpatient surgery was performed in the dermatologist's office. She took out quite a bit of tissue under the mark and around it, which has left a dent, so to speak, in the back of E's arm. It's extremely sore now to the point that even picking up a glass with her left hand hurts the surgical area.
The doctor sent the tissue off to a pathologist and should get results back in about a week, but isn't really concerned that there's a problem there. This surgery was more precautionary than anything. But, keep E in your prayers when you think about it, that the surgical site will heal quickly and the report will be negative.

I didn't know Beth had a birthmark like that. I'm glad she got it taken care of, especially if there's even the remotest chance it could have developed into something else.

When she told the doctor about Danny's history and his sister, Faye, she wanted to remove the mark as soon as possible. I'm glad about it, too. She's taking good care of the surgical site and should be back to normal very soon.
