Furniture concerns

While I do have a few pieces of furniture, I already know that I'm going to need other pieces in order to have complete rooms in the house we're buying. I'm thinking of buying or building platform beds with drawers underneath to make more storage for linens, etc. These could be pretty simple and a headboard could be created to go on the wall. A simple shape, covered with batting and the fabric of our choice, then mounted on the wall would be a beautiful way to personalize a bedroom. Using the same fabric for curtains, a duvet, and pillow shams would complete the look, don't you think?

Fabric can be purchased at Walmart for as little as $1 a yard, so it wouldn't even be very expensive to outfit an entire bedroom with a customized look.
