Since we've got the lawnmower now, we still need to use it. I was off work today but needed to go pay some bills and do a little shopping. By the time I got home, it was terribly hot out and I was overheated just from driving. So, a girl who works at McDonald's is going to come out tomorrow and mow for us, using our mower.

I still need to get a little jug of gas for it, but I don't have the jug and forgot to pick one up while I was in town. I'll tell Son to make sure and go get some gas either later tonight or tomorrow so the girl will have plenty. Also, it's a bit tricky to start the mower, so I hope the girl comes by when we're home so I can explain it to her. She may change her mind about mowing with all that!

Still, if she can cut a few rounds with it and get at least part of the yard looking decent (I don't expect perfect because the grass is tall and tough), then the next time the mowing will be a lot easier. Maybe by then, I'll have a weed whacker to do the edging with, too.
