Studying management

Because my supervisor told me she'll have me taking more management classes in a month or so, I really need to get out my books and study guides and do some reading. I also want to read through a manual at work. That should help me a lot in the classes.

If I'm going to do this job, I'm going to do it to the best of my ability. The way I see it, if the McDonald's I work at succeeds and makes a good profit, then I'm really helping myself as far as getting raises and bonuses go. The better their profit margin, the better my chance of succeeding with them.

I will say that I really do like my job - most of it, anyway. Of course, there are days when I wonder what I'm even doing there, working like that. But most days, I'm just fine with the tasks I need to do and the way everything is running. From time to time, I have a run-in with a crew member, but mostly they do the right thing and continue to do so as long as they are properly instructed.
