No vacation pay

As I sit here in town, on a parking lot where I can access free WiFi, I regret that I didn't insist on retaining either my vacation time or at least my vacation pay when I changed from the McDonald's company I did work for to another one. I probably could have pushed the issue but at the time all I really wanted to do was work closer to home. It's probably for the best. It's not as though I'd been looking at Orlando vacations and now I'm going to miss out. But6 it would have been nice to at least get a week's pay to make up for the hours missed working between changing companies.

I guess the old saying - "Hindsight is 20/20" - is really true.
