Car problems

Don't you just hate car problems? I really can't complain about the Explorer I bought, I guess, but the other night at work it refused to start. It acted like the battery was dead and I figured I'd have to buy a new one.

Luckily, I was at work when this happened. A co-worker offered to give it a jump-start and a local police officer even went home and got his personal vehicle to see if it offered more starting amps than the co-worker's car. However, no matter what we tried, the truck just would not start.

Son and Officer thought it might just be the connector things on the battery. (What are those called, anyway?) So Son called his friend - in the middle of the night, no less - and told him to take the ends off Son's car battery, since it's not in running condition right now, and bring them to our workplace. He did. They put the new ones on and the truck started right up! Whew!

Looks like that problem was an easy fix. I hope nothing else happens!
