Weekend fun

I had a great weekend, joining Sis, Mom, and Brother-in-law at the campsite Friday and Saturday. Not as many family members showed up this year for the get-together, but I was glad to see the ones that did make it. Jobs and illnesses prevented the large attendance we usually have.

Naturally, these weekends go by too quickly especially when I have to work part of the time. But, the two days off together helped me feel rested and refreshed when it was time to go back to work on Sunday night.

Son managed to talk me into letting him get a puppy Sunday. It was free, and though I was not that keen on having another dog around, I caved. The dog will need to be an outside dog, though, since it's half Lab and half Husky. It won't be gigantic but it will be too large for my small house.

The weather held nicely over the weekend. After these last weeks of daily rain, it was nice to have a couple of rain-free days!
