Truck repair saga continued

Well, Son and Son have gone to a salvage yard to get the part they need for my truck. I'm hoping it'll be all back together this evening. That would be great. However, it didn't happen.

The part they got came of a near model of what I have, but it's too small to go on, even though the "book" said it would work. The choices now are to have this part bored out or see if the salvage yard has something else. I'm hoping they'll give my money back since this one was so far off the mark. According to Son, they don't give refunds. Other Son is going to take both parts down there to show them how wrong they were.

In the meantime, I still don't have a vehicle. Blah.
