Off to work in the morning

I have to work in the morning, so I'm going to try to get off the computer at a reasonable hour. Yeah, right. This is how I connect with friends and family so it makes it hard for me to shut it down very early in the day.

Besides, I had a good nap today (about 3 1/2 hours) so I'm still good for a little while longer.

I did have to go into Town and get my store keys and plan my shift for the morning. It's hard to run a shift without a plan for what people are going to do what jobs. While I was there, I did my shift plans for the next few days as well.

Those who know me well already know that early shifts are not my favorite, but I work when I'm scheduled. Got to be able to pay bills! Especially with the recent repairs to my truck, and a few more to do in the next few weeks to get it in top running condition, I need every hour I can get at work.

At least I don't have a truck payment anymore. And, although I thought that would give me a bunch of extra money every month, it really hasn't so far.

• Wheel bearing and new hub = $150
• Two new tires = $220
• New belt = $20
• Next new wheel bearing = $45
• Tune up to come = $150 (?)
• New windshield to come = $150 (?)
• Other minor fix-ups to come = $200

I guess it never ends.
