Tuesday evening

Danny ate somewhat better today. He asked for, and I made, chocolate gravy for breakfast. He ate 2 bowls of the gravy and half a biscuit, so that's already an improvement. Danny isn't a big fan of chocolate usually, but chocolate gravy was a big hit with him today. I'm going to see if he would like tomato gravy tomorrow, or some other type of gravy, for breakfast. Anything.

Since Brandon was to be home today, I went to town for some errands - bill paying, shopping, etc. I was gone from around 10:30 this morning to around 3:00 this afternoon. It seems like every place I have to go is across town or across the county! However, I did get it all done so I feel satisfied tonight and these things aren't weighing on my mind now.

When I got home, they were just sitting down to a late lunch. Danny ate ramen. Brandon ate leftover spaghetti. Since I hadn't eaten in town, I got a bowl of leftover potato soup from last night. We ate so late that we wound up snacking for supper, but there are things in the fridge to eat if Danny wants anything more. Or, I'm happy to fix whatever he decides on.

I think Brandon kept Danny up more today. Sometimes he's a little more convincing than I am with him. Danny's resting now. Was watching CMA awards.

I got him a couple of movies today. Older, low-priced DVDs, but subjects I think he'll enjoy. He didn't watch them yet, so maybe tomorow he'll try to do that. I'm looking to get him some DVDs of old TV shows he likes. Andy Griffith. Gilligan's Island. I Love Lucy. Maybe some of the old TV westerns. I used to see them here and there, but now that Christmas shopping is upon us I am not seeing them.

We had rain and storms today, but they didn't last long. Everything blew through pretty fast and there's cold air behind it all. Tonight's temp is supposed to be around 35, yet this morning it was 78. Quite a difference.
