Quiet weekend

Not much going on here. Elizabeth and Josh have gone to another town to enjoy an early Thanksgiving at his mother's house. There will be relatives from here and Texas coming in to join in the celebration. These are folks Josh rarely sees. Maybe some he's never met. So, they went down there Friday after work to stay the weekend.

This means it's been really quiet here. No phone calls from E. Yeah. It's too quiet! She calls almost every day, wanting advice about shopping or a recipe, or to see if we can have lunch with her in Big Town. With Thanksgiving just a couple of days away now, and everyone getting ready for it, I probably won't hear a lot from her until I see her at Mom's on Thanksgiving Day!

She'll go up there on Wednesday to help them prepare things and to make her own contributions to the meal. That will give her time to visit Mom and Sis, too. E loves family stuff!
