Sunday puttering

I've got a beef roast in the oven, with carrots, potatoes, and onions all around it. I seasoned it with lemon juice, black pepper, and chopped garlic. It's just beginning to give off its aroma, and it really smells delicious!

I have done some laundry, washed up the dishes I messed up from getting the roast in the oven, and am now viewing The Secret Life of Walter Mitty on television. I know I've seen it years ago, but really had forgotten all about it. It's a funny yet poignant movie.

I've got enough time to putter around the house a bit before I get ready for work. The roast should be done before I have to go. It's pretty small.
