Creative thoughts

I couldn't believe it when i saw on the schedule that I had two days off in a row. I much prefer my days off be like this, rather than a day off now and three days later, another day off. It gives me a chance to really get some much-needed rest and to get other things done around my house.

Today is the second of the two days off. Yesterday, I worked in my bedroom, putting more things in order. I have a lot of books and wasn't sure what to do with them, but I think I came up with a plan. I'm going to stack the hard-backed books into four stacks and use them as the base for a small table. Since there aren't any children in the house anymore, I can put a glass top (which I already have) on it for an interesting table that won't destroy my books or make me need to buy shelving right away.

I think this would be interesting in a corner of the bedroom or living room, with a vase of flowers on it. I might even use it to "hide" the sub-woofer for my home theater system.
