Halloween

I noticed several children in costumes already today. With Halloween being on Saturday, the youngsters can get out earlier to do a little trick or treating at local businesses.

Of course, parents will be out with children later, as well. I remember when Sis and I would take our children trick or treating. We'd dress up in whatever costumes we could manage from our own closets, then head out with the kids. Like all parents, we ate some of the candy when we got home. It's a wonder we didn't need weight loss pills after all the fall and winter holidays. Well...maybe we really did! LOL

I actually came into town to do laundry, only to learn that the laundramat will close early to prevent vandalism tonight. I guess that means I'll postpone the laundry until tomorrow afternoon. I really don't want to be in town when all the ghouls and goblins are on the streets. There's enough traffic hazard with it being Saturday night, but throwing pedestrians into the mix, well, I'll just stay at home.
