Back to the old grind
I had the Thanksgiving weekend off, which I am very glad for, but not-so-bright and early Monday morning I'll be back at work. I open Monday, which means getting up at 3 AM to be at work by 4 AM and open the store at 5 AM.
I am not a morning person.
All the pimple popping teenagers will be back in school by then so it will at least be hard working adults during the day. Don't get me wrong, a lot of the kids who work for us really do an excellent job. But there are a few who seem to think they are only there to socialize with their friends and draw their pay for no real work. Those are the ones who make it difficult for the ones who do work hard, and they don't present a very good image to the buying public.
Maybe someday, they will come to realize that, yes, they have to do what their bosses tell them to do, and, yes, they really do have to work if they want to make money.
