Longer hours than expected
Well, we wound up working till midnight instead of just till 10 PM. I figured it would turn out that way.
There was some kind of big high school ballgame in town which meant lots of students and parents were around. That translated into a larger than usual business night Friday.
From the time we got there at 3 PM till we left at midnight (which is when we close the doors), there was hardly a lull. Very little if any preclosing tasks were completed so Brandon and I tried to do what we could to help in that regard.
Saturday we work 5 till close, which means we'll be there until at least 1 AM. I surely do hope we can get out of there by then and NOT oversleep again Sunday morning! I'm tired of missing church.
