Diet and exercise

Proper nutrition and healthful exercise are the very best way to lose weight. However, I do understand when people need more help controlling what they eat. Dieting is hard work.

One of the general managers I work with is always trying to lose weight. She walks at a track several times a week, and she does an moderate amount of other exercise. But the pounds just don't go away. She has tried some kind of diet pills, but if she's going to go that route, I'd rather see her use safe diet pills - some that won't mess up her metabolism or raise her blood pressure. She has enough to deal with at work that raises her blood pressure already!

The best I can do, though, is continue to encourage her and give her compliments when she loses a few pounds. The rest really is up to her.
