PC v. Laptop
I have to think that I would have been a lot smarter about my choice of laptops if I'd taken part in a laptop rentals program instead of buying it outright. That way, I could have tried out a few different brands before investing in one. This is not to say I'm unhappy with the one I've got. But I really don't have anything to compare it to.
It would be my guess, though, that anyone who is wanting a laptop might want to rent one for a week or so and see how they like it. I do love mine. I take it with me lots of places, like to the family get-together recently where I showed off some pictures of a new grandbaby. I use it to create some forms for work and to manage my blogging and accounts, so it's an important tool for me.
In fact, since getting this laptop I have barely booted up the old PC at all. I'm thinking of putting it in the kitchen where there's room for the tower on one of the shelves below the bar. Then, I could just boot it up to find my recipes instead of having cookbooks around.
Of course, I'll want to keep my favorite cookbooks, but you can find nearly every recipe in them online.
