Special event Wednesday

It's been a busy few days, but what else is new? It seems like my days are always busy.

I was supposed to close at McD tonight and be off tomorrow. However, there is a "special event" at our store in the morning so my supervisor brought in another closing manager and asked me to come in early in the morning instead. I had a few things to do before I left, and wound up staying until around 8:30 after all. But I wanted to make sure the other manager knew what was up and what additional tasks she needed to do before she left tonight.

She wasn't particularly pleased with the additional stuff, but I told her to just do whatever she can and we can probably get it finished in the morning before the "event" occurs. We'll have a couple of hours to get it finished up and I'm taking a maintenance man from my old store with me to help with the work.

The special event will be a gathering of owner-operators and general managers in our corporation. There will apparently be lot of them and we'd like the store to be as close to perfect as possible. I don't know how many people will be there, but if it's very many, there won't be room for regular customers. The store is pretty small.
