Fun day off

I had a great day-long visit with my Mom, Sis, and Brother-in-law yesterday. They are camping not far from where I work so even though I had the day off, I headed in that direction to visit them. I had a short visit the day before, but staying all day yesterday was great.

We didn't do anything special except talk and do a bit of shopping at Walmart. That was enough. My regular days are very full, so I was perfectly ok with a real down-time day.

When I left, I headed over to my store inside Walmart to see how things were going. We "borrowed" a manager from another store and she's quite capable, but I did the final paperwork and money stuff for the day while she and the crew member finished cleaning things up. I also worked on a sort of schedule so people would know what they're supposed to do the next few days. By the time I was finished with that stuff, I'd been there two hours! I had no idea I had taken that long...lol.
